The Twisted Kustoms Restoration
Process
Here is what you can expect during any of our restoration projects;
Project Planning: Before any work begins, our professionals will sit
down with you and discuss every detail of your project. From requested
modifications to necessary repairs, we will complete a documented account of
the project to come and can even offer professional vehicle design for those
customers that want to go a step further. Once a solid plan has been
developed, a security deposit, based on the expected weekly workload, will
be determined and required before labor begins.
Parts Ordering: Twisted Customs has developed tremendous
relationships with our parts vendors throughout the industry. We will
provide only quality parts at a fair market value to you our customer.
Customers can choose to provide their own parts, however, they will be
responsible for the shipment of the said parts. Any improper parts must be
returned by the customer and at their expense. Failure to provide adequate
parts in a timely fashion may result in project delays which may hold the
customer subject to storage charges.
Daily Photos: Photographs are taken on a daily basis to document the
project process and provide detailed guides to the disassembly and assembly
of your vehicle. These digital photos are loaded onto a Photo CD at the end
of your project for your records. Weekly CD's with your vehicle's photos can
be provided for a small convenience fee.
Weekly Customer Inspections: All customers are expected to make
weekly visits to approve previous and authorize future work. Failure to make
these inspections could result in project stoppage. It is the customer's
involvement in this area that is the most crucial to our staff. if the
communication between our staff and our customer grows less and less, the
project may be frozen until a regular form of communication can be decided.
This avoids our staff from completing unauthorized work and insures project
integrity.
Vehicle Appraisals: All professional restoration jobs are
professionally appraised by an industry specialist. The written appraisal is
provided with each customers final paperwork. These appraisals are vital
when attempting to obtain proper classic or custom vehicle insurance.
Weekly Payments: Twisted Customs bills weekly for all completed work.
It is necessary to do so in order to maintain current status with our parts
vendors, and supplies vendors. All billing provides detailed descriptions of
the work performed and is generally due upon receipt. We accept all forms of
payment; Cash, Credit Card, Check, and Money Order. Returned checks are
subject to an insufficient funds fee. Failure to make your weekly payment
will result in late fees and ultimately project stoppage.
Continued Care: Even after your project has been completed, Twisted
Customs will continue to provide professional support for all of your
vehicle's needs. Make sure to bring your vehicle in for all of it's
maintenance needs, because quite honestly, the only ones who will know the
car like you, is going to be us!
