Twisted Kustoms LLC was started by Travis Tainter in 2003. After
customizing his 2000
Chevy Silverado, he was soon being asked by other Chevy owners
to perform various work on their own vehicles. Soon it became
obvious to Travis where it was all headed and before he knew it,
a business was born! Over the last few years, Twisted Kustoms has grown into a highly
respected restoration shop within the Pacific Northwest.
Attracting the likes of such racing gurus like Bucky Austin, and
having worked alongside legendary restorers, such as Gene
Winfield, Travis and his team are slowly making a name for
themselves in the automotive restoration industry. Many of the vehicles that Travis and company
have restored, have all taken top honors in area car shows.
Consistency like that, is not merely coincidence.
Travis believes, first and foremost, in quality workmanship. He prides
himself in producing the best product possible at a fair and
reasonable cost. The sole aim of Twisted Kustoms, since the
company's inception, has been to change the way the industry
itself was perceived, and in every way possible, revolutionize
the game. While other shops boasted about the many levels of
restoration they offered, Travis instead chose to tailor the
work his shop offered to fit the customer's specification, not a
preset list of conditions. The very nature of auto restoration
makes classification of restoration project levels misleading.
This is not to say that certain vehicles do not undertake more
repairs than others, but this again, is where the "custom" part
comes into play.
Because every
customer is different, than so shall be every project by
comparison. Keep in mind, every vehicle is different, so again,
the repairs required to complete the job will in turn be
different as well. The basic point here is simple, implying that
a vehicle fits a certain level of restoration, implies that the
vehicle fits a certain price range as well. That is why at
Twisted Kustoms, the goal is to sit down with the customer and
thoroughly plan out the restoration project, from it's very
inception, to the point of completion. This way the project is
customized to their needs, and no one else's. Only once a plan
has been worked out, can the customer truly be financially aware
of what to expect. Bottom line, we don't like to gamble with
